The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception are all on property, so no need to worry about transportation. We are planning to have our events outside at the venue, so please dress accordingly! The average temperature in April varies from about 75° at night to 85° during the day with a light breeze from the ocean. The reception is being held in a grass garden so ladies, please wear wedges or block heels! Stilettos and grass are just not friends. Please see "weekend events" for more information.
Attire for the ceremony & reception is formal. Women can wear anything from evening gowns to dressy cocktail attire. Men can wear a suit, tie optional.
We have opted to use online RSVP's for the wedding. Please respond via the "RSVP" section on our website.
Atelier is an adults only hotel. All guests must be 18+ to stay on property. While we love your little ones, this is an adults only affair. Thank you for understanding!
Cell phone: All domestic phone plans will work in Mexico. Mexico is included in most unlimited plans, so there will not be any additional fees or charges. Check with your phone provider for more details.
Outlets: The electrical outlets in the Mexico & at the Atelier resort are the same are the U.S. No travel adaptor is needed.
Carry-on: Your all inclusive experience starts as soon as you get to the resort! If you are arriving in the morning ahead of check-in, please be sure to request early check-in and the hotel will try to accommodate. However, your room still may not be ready. Be sure to pack a bathing suit, coverup, sunglasses, sunscreen & shoes in your carry-on that is easy to access! When you arrive you can quickly change into your beach wear, check your suitcase and enjoy the pool, beach & restaurants right away!
Footwear: Bring a good pair of beach shoes, you will want something that is comfortable enough to walk around the resort but also good for the sand / water.
Medicine: There is no pharmacy or drug store in the resort, so bring any medicine you might need. There is a first aid room and doctor on site for emergencies.
Other: Yeti or cup of choice for poolside drinks (plastic ones are provided from the pool & beach bars, but gets warm quickly).
Provided: The hotel provides beach towels, a large plastic beach tote, bug spray, slippers & robe in your room, standard products like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, q-tips / shower cap, etc. There is a hair dryer provider, but it wasn't too powerful. If this is important to you, you may want to pack your own. The hotel has Molton Brown products throughout. INSPIRA suits come with additional products / services. Bottled water, snacks, alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks are also included in every room.
When you arrive to Cancun you will go through customs, pick up your luggage if you checked a bag, and then follow signs to ground transportation. If you don't see ground transportation, just follow signs to the exit. There is one main exit, so when in doubt, follow the crowd. When you get outside you will see a bar called "Air Margaritaville" directly to your right as you exit. When you see that, you are in the right place. From there, look for your driver. They will be holding a whiteboard with your name on it, so he should be easy to find. If you need assistance, you can call or text Sandra at +52 55 2332 6389.

For those who are staying longer, you may want to explore all that Playa Mujeres has to offer. ATELIER has several excursion options you can book once you arrive to the hotel, but this will be subject to availability. If you'd like to book this ahead of time, we recommend using Viajes Asciende, the same company providing the private hotel shuttles. You can browse some of the options available in the PDF below. ATELIER offers several free activities both day and night including kayaking, beach games, aqua classes and organizes several cultural, artistic, and sports events throughout the week. There is also nightly entertainment options. There are several additional activities you can sign up for an additional fee including tequila tasting & spa services.
